We have a special treat for November!

We’ve been invited to ThePoisonCup, a boutique wine shop and art gallery in Lincoln Park, to sample six dessert wines and some dessert pairings. This one will be a surprise… we may have some late-harvest wines, some port, maybe even a few unexpected wines! John and Erica of ThePoisonCup will take us through the many varieties of dessert wines and teach us about the nuances of each, while explaining what works best with different sweets (from fruit, to chocolate to pastries).

We’ll also have plenty of time to take in the art in ThePoisonCup, which features the work of local artists on an ever-changing basis. Be sure to check out www.poisoncup.com for photos of their gallery.
